Two HandiRail® straps are supplied. These straps attach to the rail and the bed frame on the opposite side of the bed. The straps detach easily from the rail so it can be removed without having to lift the mattress. Changing the bed linens just became a cinch, unlike the older style bed rails that required you to work around the rails.
